• Washoe’s electorate is more college-educated and less diverse than Clark County (about 32% of its voters are white college graduates vs. 21% in Clark)
• If Trump cuts into Democrats’ typical margins in Las Vegas, Harris will need a stronger performance in Washoe (including Reno) to offset that
• Washoe has been the site of skirmishes over election denialism: two county commissioners refused to certify this year’s primary results before ultimately reversing course under legal pressure.

• While the Democrats have consistently taken this large county in the past, their margin of victory has been falling.
• Trump gained 3 pts here in 2020, and ultimately Biden only took Clark by 2 pts.
